| This lower intake manifold for a 1mzfe came off a sludged out solara. Only 36k miles on that car, and it was already sludged. "duhhh.... waht's a oh-yull chaynjjj jorjjj????" Scary part is that these pix were taken AFTER I cleaned the manifold! Anyway, I planned on getting it polished up and installing it onto my car when I replaced the knock sensors (also got 2 good knock sensors and wiring harness from this samed sludged motor), but as it turns out, mine has some EVAP hoses and connectors that this one doesn't. So I'm glad I didn't bother trying to polish it out, it would've been a waste of time. The knock sensors worked good though. :) |
