3.0L Supercharger


Installing the supercharger was a learning experience, to be sure. As of June 20, 2002, I still have not worked out all the kinks of the retrofit, but I am still quite happy with it even as it is. In this section I will try to address the questions I constantly receive in email, as well as give the most detailed descriptions possible for all the problems I encountered, and how I solved them.



This page contains a bunch of photos with descriptions from when I originally installed the s/c on June 17, 2001. This section has photos from when I replaced the s/c under warranty on April 13, 2002, due to the nose drive leaking all its oil, causing premature failure.
Misc Stuff - this is a collection of images and text, all created about the same time I originally installed the s/c. I also have a complete, scanned-in copy of the installation manual available in this section for those of you who may have bought a s/c used and have no instructions, or perhaps are pondering doing the install yourself but want to know what's involved first, just like me.
