Still no internet access at the house. Whoever started this BS about DSL being better than cable modem needs to rot in hell. So far, DSL costs more, causes more headaches, and is about 15,000 times more difficult to get installed in the house. Oh yeah - and it's slower. I was getting 1.5Mbps down and 384kbps up for $45/mo with Time Warner RoadRunner cable modem. Now I'm apparently only going to be getting 768 down and 256 up... for $80/mo!! Plus there's stupid setup fees, having to BUY a modem, not to mention the aggravation of getting the damn thing running in the first place. Why didn't I keep cable modem, you ask? I would have if Time Warner serviced this area! Instead, Cox Cable services this area, and they're even more expensive than DSL when you boil it down to bucks/baud. Oh well... that's the price i pay (literally) for living so close to work. *sigh*

At last, I've managed to completely overhaul my own car's page, and I must say, it's a LOT better than it was before. It's nearly its own website all on its own now, and it finally contains good links to lots of the information people are always asking me about, particularly the supercharger. Check it out!

Hooked up my server's hard drive to my main PC to pull files off it... found 3 more camrys (a gen2, gen3, and a solara) that almost slipped thru the cracks! Added them to my galleries as well. I like filling in those "future slots." : )

The owner's gallery is finally up to date, and finally reflects ALL the people I have pictures hosted for! Next on the agenda is to update my OWN car's page, as it's rather archaic and hasn't seen an update in almost a year... it shows mods I no longer have, and doesn't accurately show all the ones I do have. Plus I have a ton of my own pix I need to add in... At least it won't be as tedious and repetitive as updating the galleries was! I really must say that it looks great having so many cars in the galleries now instead of all that empty space... Now if only I had some Gen5s to fill those gaps... and some more gen1s... I know you're out there folks... send in your pics!

While updating the galleries, I've found that LOTS of you never told me where you are located, or other details about your car such as year model, trim level, engine, etc, so I just put generic information. If you see your car and it hasn't got much (if any) info on it, or if the info on your car is wrong, please email me and let me know what needs to be changed.

Cars page (gallery) is getting there... I hope I don't ever get this far behind again; it's tedious entering that many cars at once. One or two at a time is no big deal, but 50? Cut, copy, paste, alter, edit, make thumbnails, rename, paste, edit... then do it all again 49 more times. Kinda like that song about bottles of beer on the wall, only much quieter and more annoying. Since there are so many pics now, I added a little quick link menu to the top of the galleries page to let folks jump straight to the generation they're interested in. I'm trying hard to keep the site dialup user friendly by using as much text as I can, instead of images... and I also make sure I include the ALT text in my images, so that even though the image may not be loaded yet, there'll be a bit of text where the image will be, the site will still be navigable even with images turned off, and there will be spiffy text info when you let your mouse hover over the image. Please let me know if you have any problems with my site in this regard.

Made a spiffy looking collage of camrys and solaras (shown above) from my collection of pictures that people have sent to me, or I've found on the net myself. I tried to include one of every gen, but I found that I have no good pictures of gen5 yet! And to think I work at a Toyota dealership... Oh well, back to updating the site...

I moved. New apartment doesn't have broadband (yet). Expect to have DSL installed by June, after which you should be able to read this again. :) In the mean time, I have more free time so I am updating my entire site. Wouldn't you agree it's way overdue? Hopefully I'll get everyone added to my galleries that I've been meaning to. Right now I have a whopping 18 people actually linked in my galleries. However, I have exactly fifty-two directories with images of camrys and solaras which are not yet listed in my galleries, but need to be! That's 5 gen2s, 19 gen3s, 11 gen4s, and 17 solaras. I'm a lot more behind than I thought I was, because I also have regional meet photos to add as well! Time to get crackin!
